Peace and tranquillity came to our green once again today. Congratulations are due to Bromley Council and the local police who quickly negotiated with the travellers, who agreed to move on.

The Council should consider installing posts along the Green as a barrier to the caravans and vehicles. They have done this in Sidcup Place to prevent travellers and its very effective.

Whoops! They’d moved more out of sight but I understand they are still there. Hopefully they will be moved on Monday, once LBB is back in action.

Still here last night. There should be bollards across the pavement blocking vehicle access!
